Our project is born when meeting Maria Mauri, an Italian lady doing volunteer work in Zambia for several years. Her stories and photographs move us.
From there, the desire to reach out and help the people in need was born. An unfortunate population, who’s life expectancy does not exceed 45 years, where half of the population dies due to HIV/AIDS, malaria and other lethal diseases.
The children are defenceless, often orphaned, with little to no hope for a better and serene future. Schooling is an important step in everyone’s life, but especially in Africa, where it becomes crucial in order to get out of misery.
